APIs from the DHL group and offered in the DHL Developer Portal are often reserved for the Business customers of the DHL group.
Usually, a DHL account number is displayed on any invoice from you (or your customer) from the DHL group. Please contact your DHL account manager or Sales representative if you have issues knowing your customer account number.
If you are a Personal Customer of Deutsche Post in Germany, your "Postnummer" isn't a valid account number that can be used for reference in the onboarding to the DHL Group APIs. Please contact your local DHL post office, or reach out to their customer support channels to find out how to become a Business Customer.
Note: The DHL account number is not your Developer Portal ID or an API key.
